This 1967 Ford Mustang fastback was built in June 1967 a red interior, and an S-Code 390ci V8 linked to a C-6 automatic and a 3.25:1 limited-slip differential. The seller acquired the car in 1986 from a friend, and in 2010 it was rebuilt and modified. The FE block was bored and fitted with a SCAT 445 stroker kit, Diamond pistons, a Demos Cams hydraulic roller camshaft, Edelbrock aluminum heads and an RPM Performer intake manifold, and a Quick Fuel HR-Series 850CFM carburetor. The C-6 was overhauled with internals from CK Performance Engineering and a 3,200-RPM stall converter, while the rear end is a Currie 9″ with a Detroit Locker and 31-spline axles. The car rides on custom polished American Racing 17″ Shelby Cobra wheels with Wilwood brakes, Varishock dampers, and Borgeson power steering, and metal work was performed before the exterior was repainted a one-off mix using PPG products. Inside, Vintage Air, TMI Products bucket seats, a RetroSound Classics radio, a custom sound system, billet pedals, and Lloyds mats were installed.
