This 1993 Ford Escort RS Cosworth was produced on September 17, 1992, as one of an initial 2,500 cars assembled for homologation with a larger turbocharger and Weber-Marelli IAW P8 ECU for the 2.0-liter inline-four. It has since been outfitted with an ECU chip, a Forge Motorsport wastegate, a Bailey blow-off valve, and an aftermarket exhaust system. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes 18” OZ Racing-style wheels, Bilstein front shocks, Koni rear shocks, a lip spoiler, and a rear wing. A Lux example, the car is finished in Pacifica Blue and features a full leather interior with heated Recaro front seats accompanied by a sunroof.
