This 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger was refurbished around 2021 with work that involved installing a 383ci V8 that has been bored .040″ over and is augmented by a Comp Cams camshaft, a Holley 650-cfm carburetor, a Mopar Performance intake manifold, a Griffin aluminum radiator, an electric water pump, and an MSD ignition system. The car has been repainted in Plum Crazy over retrimmed black vinyl upholstery, and other features include a 727 TorqueFlite three-speed transmission, a Sure Grip rear end, front disc brakes, 14″ steel wheels, hubcaps, a fiberglass scooped hood, a rear wing, LED headlights, an Autogage tachometer, a Hurst shifter, and a 2,000-watt aftermarket audio system. In early 2025, the transmission was rebuilt, rear air shocks were installed, wiring was repaired, and the crankshaft seal, oil-pan gasket, carburetor, shocks, and rear tires were replaced.
