This 1968 Mercury Cougar is one of 1,342 and it was specified with Augusta Green paintwork, a black interior, and a 289ci V8 linked to a C4 automatic transmission and an optional 2.79 rear end.  A 302ci V8 was rebuilt to displace 306ci, a Silver Sport Transmission five-speed manual gearbox and 3.55 limited-slip differential were retrofitted, the suspension and steering systems were overhauled, 15×8″ Magnum 500-style wheels were added along with front disc brakes, and Vintage Air and a Bluetooth-capable stereo were installed. The car is further equipped with a Weiand intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, an aluminum radiator, a Monte Carlo bar, PerTronix ignition, and a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.
