The car was subsequently repainted black and fitted with replacement gold graphics as part of a multi-year refurbishment project. Power is provided by a 302ci V8 that is fitted with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a raised aluminum intake manifold, and Blackjack exhaust headers. Shifting is through a three-speed automatic transmission linked with a Traction-Lok limited-slip rear differential, and further equipment includes cruise control, power steering, power-assisted brakes, and 13″ slotted alloy wheels.
