This 1972 DeTomaso Pantera L left the factory in June 1973 and underwent a color change to Viper Red as well as installation of a 351ci Windsor V8 crate engine as part of a refurbishment complete It wears a GTS-style front chin spoiler along with split front bumpers from AmeriSport Industries and rides on 15″ Campagnolo cast magnesium wheels. Inside, black vinyl–trimmed seats are accompanied by a MOMO steering wheel, a gated shifter, and air conditioning. The engine is mated to a five-speed ZF manual transaxle and is further equipped with a Hall Pantera camshaft as well as roller rockers and custom exhaust headers. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, and recent work has involved rebuilding the power steering rack and servicing the disc brakes as well as adding a Holley double-pumper carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, and an MSD ignition.
