Subsequent refurbishment work involved refinishing the car in red, refreshing the black interior, replacing the black soft top, and installing a 400ci V8, front disc brakes, and American Racing 17″ wheels. Shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission, and the clutch was also replaced as part of the refurbishment work.
