The replacement 454ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold, an electric water pump, MSD ignition, and long-tube headers, and power is routed through a TH400 three-speed automatic. Further equipment includes a BeCool radiator, CVF hood hinges, exhaust cutouts, and a B&M shifter along with 15″ American Racing wheels, Mickey Thompson tires, and power-assisted front disc brakes. Inside, black vinyl upholstery is joined by a Comfort Grip-style steering wheel, aftermarket gauges, and a retro-look stereo.
