The 289ci Ford Hi-Po V8 was rebuilt with an Eagle crankshaft and connecting rods, Speed-Pro Hypereutectic pistons, a COMP Cams camshaft, a Melling oil pump, a PerTronix billet distributor, and a Holley four-barrel carburetor. The engine is backed by a four-speed manual transmission, and the car rides on a tubular steel chassis with a fully independent coilover suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and 15” wire wheels. Additional highlights include engine-turned metal trim inside and out as well as a Moto-Lita steering wheel, a Hurst shifter, and bullet-style side mirrors.
