This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback was subsequently refurbished and modified in the style of a GT350R. The body was stripped, metal repairs were performed, and it was repainted white and Nardo Gray with an R-style valance and grille, and the front end was overhauled with Eibach springs, a Hellwig sway bar, Wilwood front disc brakes, and Flaming River rack-and-pinion steering. A 1995 302ci roller V8 was installed, and it is topped by an Edelbrock intake manifold and a Holley carburetor and linked to a Tremec T-5 five-speed manual transmission and a 3.55 Detroit Truetrac differential. The car is further equipped with 15″ Torq Thrust wheels, Procar bucket seats, a roll bar, a Hurst shifter, Vintage Air climate control, and more as described below.
