Between 2008 and 2011 the 289ci V8 and the three-speed automatic transmission were overhauled, the car was repainted white, and the interior was refreshed with black and white vinyl upholstery. The engine work involved fitting Clevite bearings, a double-roller timing chain, and a four-barrel intake manifold. An Edelbrock carburetor was installed in 2024, and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale. The car is equipped with 15″ Styled wheels and front disc brakes in addition to air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, front bucket seats, and a center console.
