This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 hardtop is powered by an aluminum 498ci “Cammer” V8 that utilizes a forged rotating assembly and an eight-stack throttle body setup. which results in a reported output of approximately 700 horsepower. Power is routed to the 31×16.5″ Mickey Thompson ET Streets through a David Kee Toploader four-speed transmission and a high-performance 9″ rear end, and the car rides on a modified chassis with a Mustang II-style front suspension, adjustable coilovers, and rear ladder bars. The exterior was refinished in white following the current owner’s 2011 acquisition, and details consist of a Thunderbolt-style hood and red bodyside accents.
