This 1963 Volkswagen Type 2 is a 15-window bus that was the subject of a multi-year refurbishment  Work involved repainting the exterior in Sealing Wax Red with a Beige Gray roof, retrimming the interior in Silver Beige vinyl, and installing a 1,776cc flat-four in addition to a Freeway Flyer four-speed manual transaxle. Further equipment includes 36mm Dell’Orto carburetors, Pertronix electronic ignition, a 12-volt electrical system, and a custom exhaust system as well as VDO instrumentation, a Motorola AM radio, and three rows of seats.
