The car was used as a daily driver until 1984, at which time it went into storage. Recommissioning work in 2005-07 consisted of repairing the body, repainting the car in black, and reupholstering the seats in red leather in addition to rebuilding the 2.2-liter M127 inline-six and the four-speed manual transmission. The car is also equipped with fog lights and 13″ steel wheels with full covers along with a rear bench seat, a wood veneer dashboard, a Becker radio, and a heater.
