This 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A coupe is one of approximately 2,400 produced to homologate the model for competition in the SCCA’s Trans-Am series. T/A-specific equipment included a flat-black fiberglass hood with a functional scoop as well as a rear spoiler, longitudinal black stripes, uprated suspension components, and a side-outlet dual exhaust system. The car was refurbished in ~2018 and it is powered by a 340ci V8 with Six Pack induction. The exterior is finished in Top Banana with black side stripes, and further details include a three-speed automatic transmission, 15″ Rallye wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, a driver-side mirror, an AM/FM radio, Rallye gauges, and woodgrain trim.
