Work consisted of repainting the body in metallic gray, re-trimming the interior, applying LizardSkin insulation material to the interior of the cab and roof, and replacing braking and suspension components along with the windshield, exterior trim, and floor pans. The 302ci V8 was rebuilt, and a C4 three-speed automatic transmission was installed along with 4.56:1 differential gears and replacement bearings in the rear axle. Equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, a body-color removable hardtop, a roll cage, satin black custom bumpers, bolt-on fender extensions, a suspension lift kit, power steering and front disc brakes, manually locking front hubs, 15″ Ion Alloy wheels, aftermarket gear selectors, and a JVC digital stereo linked with aftermarket speakers and dual 10″ subwoofers.
