This 1956 Continental Mark II was completed as one of approximately 2,550 first-year coupes, and a refurbishment was commissioned  Work included rebuilds of the over-bored 368ci V8 and a three-speed automatic transmission as well as a refit of the white and red leather interior. The two-door body is finished in white and features an egg-crate grille, integrated exhaust outlets, and a wrap-around windshield, while the cabin is appointed with an AM radio, a power-adjustable front bench seat, and power windows. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, an auxiliary electric fuel pump, wide-whitewall tires, power steering, and assisted drum brakes.
