Work included refinishing the body in black, retrimming the interior in white leather, rebuilding the 2.0-liter inline-four, retrofitting a five-speed Getrag manual transmission, and overhauling the suspension and brake systems. The car rides on 14″ alloy wheels and is further equipped with Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection, front disc brakes, Bilstein shock absorbers, a sunroof, air conditioning, and a digital push-button radio.
