A subsequent refurbishment reportedly included repainting the bodywork in Signal Orange, reupholstering the cabin in black leatherette, and rebuilding the 2.2-liter flat-six and the five-speed manual transaxle. The car then moved to the Netherlands before returning to the US in 2023. Equipment includes 15″ Fuchs wheels, aftermarket heat exchangers, a Dansk rear muffler, H1 headlights, front and rear swaybars, four-wheel disc brakes, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo.
