Subsequent work has involved replacing the black soft top, rod and main bearings, timing chain, various gaskets, transmission mounts, clutch, brake pads, sway-bar bushings, and trunk lining; overhauling the ignition, fuel, and cooling systems; converting the electrical system to negative ground; and repairing the tachometer and the steering column. Finished in British Racing Green over black vinyl upholstery, the Healey is powered by a 2.9-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
