This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe was built by Ron Jones Garage of Windsor, Colorado, for the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge in 2021, including the installation of Heidts independent front and rear suspension, a 5.2-liter Aluminator V8, and a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission. The body was fitted with steel fender flares, custom front and rear valances, and a hood scoop before being repainted Brittany Blue, and it rides on 18″ Billet Specialties wheels with Wilwood disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear units. The interior houses high-back bucket seats with harnesses, a roll cage, and Classic Instruments gauges. Additional equipment includes a 9″ rear end, a fuel cell, a CVF Racing pulley system, and electric power steering.
