This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is one of a reported 255 for the model year equipped with an L71 427ci V8 with triple two-barrel carburetors and a heavy-duty M40 three-speed automatic transmission. A subsequent multi-year refurbishment involved rebuilding the engine, transmission, and differential, removing the body from the frame, refinishing the frame in semi-flat black, and repainting the fiberglass body in white as well as re-trimming the bucket seats in black vinyl. The car was then awarded NCRS Chapter and National Second Flight awards in 2014 and 2015 as well as a Regional Top Flight award in 2017. Equipment includes a black soft top, side exhaust pipes, hideaway headlights, an AM/FM radio, power steering, power-assisted disc brakes, and 15″ Rally wheels.
