The body was refinished in red over replacement black leatherette upholstery, the frame was replaced, a CV-axle conversion kit was installed, and the 1.6-liter inline-four was fitted with dual Weber carburetors, aftermarket camshafts, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. Power is transmitted via a four-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes a black soft top and boot, 13″ Panasport wheels, flared fenders, Sebring-style mirrors, retractable headlights, and a wood veneer dashboard.
