Chassis 2R14217 underwent a repaint and engine rebuild as part of a refurbishment completed from 2004 to 2006 The car features a louvered clamshell hood as well as a black soft top and is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes in addition to 15″ wire wheels. Inside, a wood-rimmed 15″ steering wheel has been added and is accompanied by a Smiths heater and gauges. The overbored 4.2-liter inline-six breathes through dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, while shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission linked with a limited-slip differential.
